WAKAMIYA Shoko, Ph.D is a postdoctoral researcher in Social Computing Lab., Institute for Research Initiatives/Graduate School of Science and Technology, Division of Information Science, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan. The research area covered in Social Computing Lab are Medical application based on NLP, Web mining for healthcare, and NLP as language ability test. She specializes in analysing social networks on the World Wide Web, and is currently developing analyses of large geographic databases and trajectories that emerge from tweets. Several experiments are currently being carried out in the Osaka region. Her research interest are: Social computing, Geo-social media, Spatio-temporal database, Crowd-sourced data analysis, Medical informatics.
